RPSC Senior Scientific Officer Exam - 2019

Education Qualification

Senior Scientific Officer (Documents Division):-

  1. M.Sc. IInd division in Physics/Chemistry from a University established by Law in India.
  2. Two years’ experience of working in a Forensic Science Laboratory of a State or Central Government or similar experience in public Undertaking or Corporation. 

Senior Scientific Officer (Chemistry Division):-

  1. M.Sc. IInd division in Chemistry from a University established by Law in India.
  2. Two years’ experience of working in a Forensic Science Laboratory of a State or Central Government or similar experience in public Undertaking or Corporation.

Senior Scientific Officer (Physics Division) :-

  1. M.Sc. IInd division in Physics/Physical Chemistry from a University established by Law in India.
  2. Two years’ experience of working in a Forensic Science Laboratory of a State or Central Government or similar experience in public Undertaking or Corporation.

Senior Scientific Officer (Ballistics Division):-

  1. M.Sc. IInd division in Physics/Mathematics.
  2. Two years’ experience of working in a Forensic Science Laboratory of a State or Central Government or similar experience in public Undertaking or Corporation.

Senior Scientific Officer (Biology Division):-

  1. M.Sc. IInd division in Zoology/Bio-Chemistry.
  2. Two years’ experience of working in a Forensic Science Laboratory of a State or Central Government or similar experience in public Undertaking or Corporation.

Senior Scientific Officer (Serology Division):-

  1. M.Sc. IInd division in Zoology/Bio-Chemistry.
  2. Two years’ experience of working in a Forensic Science Laboratory of a State or Central Government or similar experience in public Undertaking or Corporation. 

Senior Scientific Officer (Toxicology Division):-

  1.  M.Sc. IInd division in Chemistry from a University established by Law in India.
  2. Two years’ experience of working in a Forensic Science Laboratory of a State or Central Government or similar experience in public Undertaking or Corporation.

Senior Scientific Officer (Photo Division):-

  1. B.Sc. from a University established by Law with Diploma in Photography of a Institute of Repute. 
  2. Two years’ experience in modern Photographic Techniques viz Photomicrography, U.V. and I.R. Photography, X-Ray and spectrographic Photography Ballistics Photography and Cinematography of Institute of repute.

Senior Scientific Officer (Narcotics Division ):-

  1. M.Sc. IInd division in Chemistry from a University established by Law in India.
  2. Two years’ experience of working in a Forensic Science Laboratory of a State or Central Government or similar experience in public Undertaking or Corporation.

Senior Scientific Officer (Arson & Explosives Division):-

  1. M.Sc. IInd division in Chemistry from a University established by Law in India.
  2. Two years’ experience of working in a Forensic Science Laboratory of a State or Central Government or similar experience in public Undertaking or Corporation.

# Working knowledge of Hindi written in Devnagri Script and knowledge of Rajasthani Culture.

21 to 40 years on Date 01-01-2020.
