Education Qualification

  • Possess, at least Second Class Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Technology except-Civil Engineering and a Post Graduate Degree or Diploma in Business Administration or Management or Rural Management or Entrepreneurship Development obtained from any of the universities established or incorporated by or under the central or a State Act in India or any other educational institution recognised as such or declared to be deemed as a University under section 3 of the University Grants Commission Act, 1956 or Possess an equivalent qualification recognised by the All India Council of Technical Education.
  • Possess the basic knowledge of computer application as prescribed in the Gujarat Civil Services Classification and Recruitment (General) Rules,1967.
  • Have adequate knowledge of Gujarati or Hindi or both.
Experience
  • About two years experience on the post not below the rank of Head Clerk, Class-3 or Assistant Instructor, Class-3, in the subordinate Services of the Commissionerate of Cottage or Rural Industries.
  • About two years experience in the field of Administration in Government, Government Undertaking, Board, Corporation, Local Bodies, Limited Company established under the Companies Act, 2013 or University on the post which can be considered equivalent to the post not below the rank of Head Clerk, Class-3 or Assistant Instructor, Class-3, in the subordinate services of the Commissionerate of Cottage or Rural Industries.

Age Limit

  • Minimum Age: Must have completed 21 years on the last date of 10-01-2020.
  • Maximum Age: Must not have completed 39 years on the last date of 10-01-2020.

E.W.S, S.E.B.C, S.C, and S.T. Male Candidates of Gujarat Origin only 05 Years (Maximum 45years)
Women Candidate belonging to unreserved category 05 Years (Maximum 45years)
Women Candidate belonging to E.W.S, S.E.B.C, S.C and S.T. category of Gujarat Origin Only 10 years (maximum up to 45 years)
Disabled Candidates (if mentioned) 10 years (maximum up to 45 years)
As per Gujarat Civil Services Classification and Recruitment (General) Rules 1967, A candidate of Gujarat Govt. Employee is already in Gujarat Govt. Service, either as a permanent or a temporary officiating continuously for six months and had not crossed the age limit prescribed for the advertised post at the time of his first appointment.
  • If experience is prescribed as one of the qualifications, the upper age limit shall not apply.
  • If experience is not prescribed as one of the qualifications and Govt. servant appointed to a post requiring a Medical, Engineering, Veterinary or, Agriculture degree or diploma and who applied for any such post, the upper age limit shall not apply.
  • If experience is not prescribed as one of the qualifications in the advertisement, Govt. servants who are working on the post from which an employee can be promoted to the post so
    advertised, be entitled to relaxation of 5 years, or to the extent of an equal number of years for which service has been put in by him, which is less.
