Qualifications

• Possess a Bachelor’s Degree and must have completed the Divisional Officer’s course or the Fire Prevention Course at the National Fire Service College Nagpur.
• A Degree of Bachelor of Engineering (Fire) / Bachelor of Technology (Fire) /  Bachelor of Engineering (Fire and Safety) / Bachelor of Technology (Fire / Safety) Bachelor of Science (Fire) obtained from any of the Universities.
• The basic knowledge of Computer.
• Adequate knowledge of Gujarati or Hindi or English or any two languages out of these three languages essential.

Experience

Have about ten years working experience in a whole time in the field of Fire Brigade out of which three years experience on the post which can be considered equivalent to the post not below the rank of Chief Fire Officer in the Government/Local bodies/Government Undertaking Board/Corporation/ Limited Company established under the companies.

Age Limit

• Minimum Age: Must have completed 21 years on the last date of 11-02-2020.
• Maximum Age: Must not have completed 50 years on the last date of 11-02-2020.

Age Relaxation:-

A candidate who is already in Gujarat Govt. service, either as a permanent or a Temporary officiating continuously for six months and had not crossed age limit prescribed for the advertised post at the time of his first appointment:-

• If experience is prescribed as one of the qualifications, the upper age limit shall not apply.
• If experience is not prescribed as one of the qualifications and a Govt.servant appointed to a post requiring a Medical, Engineering, Veterinary or Agriculture degree or diploma and who applied for any such post, the upper age limit shall not apply.
• If experience is not prescribed as one of the qualifications in the advertisement, Govt. servants who are working on the post from which an employee can be promoted to the post so advertised, be entitled to relaxation of 5 years, or to the extent of equal number of years for which service has been put in by him, whichever is less.
