GPSC Associate Professor, Pathology, Class-I Exam - 2019-20

Education Qualification

  • Possess academic qualifications as specified in the Annexures (in the detailed advertisement) against each subject obtained from any of the Universities established or incorporated by or under the Central or a State Act in India, or any other educational institution recognised as such or declared to be deemed as a University under section 3 of the University Grants Commission Act, 1956, or possess an equivalent qualification recognised by the Medical Council of India.
  • Possess the basic knowledge of computer application as prescribed in the Gujarat Civil Services Classification and Recruitment (General) Rules,1967.
  • Have adequate knowledge of Gujarati or Hindi or both.
Experience

Have at least four years teaching experience as Assistant Professor Class 1 in the concerned subject as specified in Annexure-I (in the detailed advertisement) in a permitted / approved/recognised medical college/institutions with two research publications in Indexed Journals as first author or as the corresponding author along with five years of experience after Post Graduation.

Age Limit

  • Minimum Age: Must have completed 21 years on the last date of 30-11-2020.
  • Maximum Age: Must not have completed 43 years on the last date of 30-11-2020.

Women Candidate belonging to unreserved category 05 Years (Maximum 45years)
Women Candidate belonging to E.W.S, S.E.B.C, S.C and S.T. category of Gujarat Origin Only 10 Years (Including Five years relaxation for women) Maximum 45years.
Disabled Candidates (if mentioned) 10 years (Subject to Maximum 45 Years on the
basis of Medical certificate issued by the Medical
Board) Candidates having disability other than
prescribed above are not eligible for application.
Ex. Serviceman Including E.C.O. / S.S.C.O Length of Military Service plus three years (Maximum Up to 45 years.)
As per Gujarat Civil Services Classification and Recruitment (General) Rules 1967, A candidate of Gujarat Govt. Employee is already in Gujarat Govt. Service, either as a permanent or a temporary officiating continuously for six months and had not crossed the age limit prescribed for the advertised post at the time of his first appointment.
  • If experience is prescribed as one of the qualifications, the upper age limit shall not apply.
  • If experience is not prescribed as one of the qualifications and Govt. servant appointed to a post requiring a Medical, Engineering, Veterinary or, Agriculture degree or diploma and who applied for any such post, the upper age limit shall not apply.
  • If experience is not prescribed as one of the qualifications in the advertisement, Govt. servants who are working on the post from which an employee can be promoted to the post so advertised, be entitled to relaxation of 5 years, or to the extent of an equal number of years for which service has been put in by him, which is less.
