GPSC Anaesthetist, Class-I, Exam - 2019-20

Education Qualification

  • Possess academic qualifications as specified in the Annexures (in the detailed advertisement) against each subject obtained from any of the Universities established or incorporated by or under the Central or a State Act in India, or any other educational institution recognized as such or declared to be a deemed as University under section 3 of the University Grants Commission Act,1956 (3 of 1956) or possess any other qualifications specified in First or Second Schedule to the Indian Medical Council Act,1956 or as the case may possess an equivalent qualification recognised by the Dental Council of India.
  • Possess the basic knowledge of computer application as prescribed in the Gujarat Civil Services Classification and Recruitment (General) Rules,1967.
  • Have adequate knowledge of Gujarati or Hindi or both.
Experience

Only for the candidates possessing Post Graduate Diploma as shown in Annexure of the detailed advertisement, the experience of two years in the respective subject in Government Hospital or owned manage or controlled by the Non-Government Organisation Hospital or Trust Hospital.

Age Limit

  • Minimum Age: Must have completed 21 years on the last date of 10-01-2020.
  • Maximum Age: Must not have completed 40 years on the last date of 10-01-2020.

Women candidates of unreserved Category 05 Years (Maximum 45years)
Women Candidates of Reserved Category 10 Years (Including Five years relaxation for women) Maximum 45years.
Government Servant No relaxation in upper age will be available to
Government Servant.
Ex-servicemen / Officers The length of military service (At least five years
of military services) + 3 years
Physically Disabled Candidates Eligible in respective category in Concerned subject. maximum up to 10 (ten) years subject to his/ her ability to discharge duties attached to the posts, as may be performed by any other normal persons, on the basis of production of medical certificate prescribed by GAD circular dated 01-12- 2008from the MedicalBoard.
